Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman as old friends and Jennifer Lopez as the estranged daughter-in-law, this is an awesome movie.
Remember what I said about John Cusack and how I can't like any of his movies (not him, his movies !!! ) ???
Well, I can't say I like any of the Jennifer Lopez movies I have seen but this one is brilliant.
A moving story of a grieving father (Rdeford) who blames Jennifer, his daughter-in-law, for the death of his son.
The single mother has run away from an abusive relationship and lands at Redford's ranch in a rural town.
The kid who plays the grand-daughter is also a gem of an actress.
This movie should have escalated J.Lo's movie career to grand heights. She is great in the role and shows she can act.
Meanwhile there is a strong friendship between an injured Morgan Freeman and his voluntary caretaker buddy Redford. And then there is the wild bear.
You can't miss this drama, watch it on a calm day when you are reminiscent or emotional or just indulging in memories.
